Introducing the New ‘Social Disc’ from Tino&Pip

We are often asked by clients if it is OK for them to post their photographs on social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter for their friends to see, and of course this is not a problem, but it got us to thinking… if we were to offer a disc of web resolution images that can be posted straight onto the net, without the faff of resizing, sharpening and so on, wouldn’t that make life easier?

The Social Disc is offered with portrait and wedding photography alike, enabling you to show of your gorgeous photographs online indefinitely!

What do you think? Great idea?

More FREE Wedding Vendor Portfolio Shoots!

Some of you may know that we recently offered all wedding vendors in our catchment area a free portfolio shoot by way of introduction. We had a great response and much fun was had getting to know our fellow suppliers. The majority of the shoots however, were Kent or London based. Due to our recent relocation to Eastbourne, we would like reintroduce this offer specifically to those in the East Sussex area…

We know how important it is for wedding vendors to have a professional and exquisite portfolio and we would like to provide the photography for your latest entry free of charge!

We are often asked by brides if we can recommend other vendors in the area and we feel that this would give us the perfect opportunity to get to know each other and be able to recommend you with confidence. Also, we have set up a Fabulous Wedding Inspiration section on our blog with a few of our favourite wedding details and would like to build upon this with more spectacular tablescapes, scrumptious cupcakes, stunning wedding gowns and so on, all with full vendor details as a resource for brides and grooms. We would even love to get a group of local vendors to team together for an elaborate shoot, so if you know anyone else that may be interested, do let us know. We think this would be a great opportunity all round, so if you would like to take us up on our offer of a free portfolio shoot, please email us your details and we’ll get straight back to you!

Terms & Conditions: All images licensed to vendors under shared copyright where both parties may use images for any promotional purposes. We insist that our images are credited wherever possible. Only wedding vendors based in East Sussex may be considered. Free portfolio shoot awarded at our discretion. Free offer excludes travel costs.

Three Generations of Fun!

We love multi-generational shoots and they are very popular. We recently had a family photography session bursting with personality! The children were so much fun and helped to distract the adults from the camera- perfect to achieve the natural style we like to bring to our family portraits. In conclusion, the cheekier the better!

(Don’t forget that we are offering £25 OFF your family photoshoot, if you live in Eastbourne)!

Contemporary Paintings by the Wonderfully Talented Denyse Viollette

It’s funny what you end up doing when people learn that you know how to use a camera! For example we recently had the pleasure of photographing these incredible abstract oil and acrylic painings by the highly inspirational artist Denyse Viollette.

A few words about the artist;

“I discovered my passion for painting around 7 years ago whilst living in Georgia USA. My abstract style was developed further following a family relocation to Northern Italy. Here I was increasingly influenced by the rustic and colourful exteriors of Venice and the town of Vittorio Veneto, where we made our home, nestled in the foothills of the Dolomite Mountains.

More recently, the rapidly changing colours, textures and light of the English Sussex coastline have inspired me to experiment with different styles and mark-making techniques. By using oil, mixed media and acrylics, I am able to enhance the visual and textural impact of my paintings and collages.”

Denyse frames some of her smaller canvases, as exhibited at Wobblybridge Art Galleryin Tunbridge Wells last month, one of which we have hanging on our wall!…

She has many more beautiful canvases and prints for sale- email denyseviollette@gmail.com to find out more or for details of her next exhibition.
